WilCo Summer '25 Record Crawl

The Will County Record Store Crawl: A Vinyl Lover’s Dream in the Chicago Suburbs

Every December and now in July, Will County, Illinois, transforms into a vinyl collector’s paradise with the Annual Will County Record Store Crawl. Set for Saturday, July 12, 2025, AND Sunday July 13, 2025, this event is a celebration of music, community, and the unique culture of independent record shops.

The crawl invites music fans to explore multiple indie record stores across Joliet, Plainfield, and beyond, each offering exclusive deals, limited-edition releases (RSD Titles from 2024-2025), and special in-store events just for the occasion. Participants can grab a punch card and visit every store on the crawl for a shot at prize bundles and even more discounts. It’s a chance to discover rare finds, meet fellow collectors, and support local businesses that keep vinyl culture

This year’s lineup includes favorites:

Audiophil’s Records (Joliet)            Black Dog Vinyl Cafe (Plainfield)

B-Sides (Lemont)                           Controlled Chaos (Bolingbrook)

DiscReplay (Crest Hill)                   Paul Rose Vinyl & Boutique (Plainfield)

Vinyl Revival (Morris)

Whether you’re a seasoned crate digger or just getting into vinyl, you’ll find something to love at each stop. Some shops feature live music, pop-up vendors, and refreshments to keep the party going all day.

So, dust off your record tote, make a checklist of shops, and join the Will County Record Store Crawl. It’s more than just shopping—it’s about connecting with a passionate community and celebrating the magic of music in its purest, analog form.
